2D Says Britney Spears Doesn’t Exist

Sarah Rodman of the Boston Herald spoke with the guys from the animated band Gorillaz. When asked “I’ve heard that while you play there are other musicians somewhere behind the stage also playing, is this true? Are you lip-syncing like Britney Spears?” 2D replied, “Britney Spears doesn’t actually exist, it’s all done with animation. She lip-syncs though.”
