30,000 Super Bowl Complaint Letters Pour Into FCC
Within 36 hours of MTV’s stunt during Sunday night’s CBS broadcast of the Super Bowl half-time show where *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake exposed the breast of Janet Jackson, over 30,000 have printed formal complaint letters to the Federal Communications Commission. “We have a constant stream of thousands of people on our website wanting to file a formal complaint letter against CBS and their stations,” says American Family Association (AFA) Chairman Don Wildmon. In addition, Wildmon says over 250,000 emails have been sent to the five FCC commissioners and members of Congress since Monday afternoon. Read more.
