A Camp is releasing their new album ‘Colonia’ in North America today, and will head out on a U.S./Canadian tour in support of the release starting May 26th in New York City before wrapping up in Los Angeles on June 15th. Tyler Hilton updated fans on his blog at MySpace on Thursday (April 16), talking about his book charity at thbooksforkids.org giving kids access to a wide variety of appropriate reading material where it may not otherwise be possible. The singer songwriter tells readers:
By far my favorite part of being involved in TH Books for Kids is watching an idea turn into reality. It never ceases to amaze me. I remember being at a show here in L.A. not too long ago where a couple of board members for the charity happened to be, and we ended up wondering how we could focus our energies on L.A. since we hadn’t done anything for this great city we all live in. We threw around the idea of helping the homeless and possibly getting involved with some shelters, making sure they had books for the kids that came through. It sounded like a good idea, but none of us had ever dealt with the folks who administered shelters.
Once again, our kick ass director, Dana, did her research and found an organization called Beyond Shelter in downtown L.A. After talking to some of the saints who run the show down there, we decided they could really benefit from our fundraising. Originally we started this charity to help kids have access to books, and when possible, the opportunity to take home books of their own.

The Sun reports Orlando Bloom’s attempts to charm Kylie Minogue at the Campaign To End Fistula charity bash in London wasn’t the success the actor had hoped. Kylie left the event at the All Star Lanes bowling alley to go to Raffles nightclub. “The All Saints girls and Louise Redknapp were winding Orlando up at the bar shouting ‘Where’s Kylie gone?’ Geri Halliwell was giggling with them,” an onlooker revealed. “Orlando went bright red. He tried to laugh it off but you could tell he was gutted.”

The Mirror caught up wth Shaznay Lewis and Mel Blatt at Tuesday’s launch of the Blackberry Curve at Kensington Roof Gardens. The pair, who represent half of All Saints, the girl group ditched by Parlophone in March in their comeback bid, insisted: “We’re still working closely together. We don’t know what next year holds but we could well do a comeback tour.”
