invited friends and family to a special listening party at Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, California last weekend, where the Australian pop singer performed new material off of his forthcoming EP, ‘Preview To Paradise’, due out June 12th. Celebrity guests included Kendall & Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom, Judd Apatow, Ariel Winter, Ashley Argota, boy band IM5 and more. Several pop artists are sharing their thoughts on Twitter following the news that Whitney Houston had been found unresponsive in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday afternoon and declared dead after paramedics were unsuccessful performing CPR on the singing legend. Cody Simpson ‘Coast To Coast’ EP Release Party In Hollywood

released his new six song EP ‘Coast To Coast’, featuring the #1 Radio Disney hit, ‘On My Mind’, on Tuesday (September 20). The Australian pop star celebrated the EP dropping on the eve of its release at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood, California.

Cody did an acoustic set with friends and fans in attendance, singing ‘Angel’, ‘Not Just You’, and ‘On My Mind’, all featured on the EP. Celebrity guests included young stars like Hailee Steinfeld, Bella Thorne, Zendaya, , Madison Pettis, Kenton Duty, Billy Unger, Olivia Holt, China Anne McClain, and Colin Ford. Cody was also joined by his sister Alli Simpson.

Cody will be promoting the EP with a number of TV appearances, including upcoming performances on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ and Nickelodeon’s ‘Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures’ as well as an appearance on the Disney Channel’s ‘PrankStars’ and performance / mentor role on Radio Disney and the Disney Channel’s ‘N.B.T. While ‘Idol’ apparently preferred Jessica, it was her meddling dad Joe who got in the way, clearing the way for J.Lo to swoop in to get the job on the hit FOX show. “This was definitely Jessica’s to lose and that’s exactly what her dad-manager did,” an insider revealed. “Once it became clear it was going to be impossible to negotiate a deal with papa Joe, J.Lo was snapped up.
