Steven McCombe of ic Scotland reviewed the Britney Spears concert at SECC in Glasgow, giving the performance only 2 out of 5 stars. McCombe writes, “You can’t blame Britney for growing up but her performance demonstrates a realization from her that sex sells records. She must also realize though that substance and good musicianship will also shift albums. Some may suggest that her number one hit ‘Toxic’ marked the return to form of a pop princess, but judging by the content of latest album offering, ‘In The Zone’, that was a mere glitch in a downward spiral.”
