A Fine Frenzy’s Alison Sudol checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Monday (August 4) with the following message:
Hi everyone! I’m drinking tea in the mid-morning heat; Thought I’d drop a note to say a hello that has nothing to do with voting or show reminders or anything like that. Just plain howdy doody :)
We’ve started tinkering on the second album! It is a beautiful thing, working on new music. these new songs are challenging me to step up in a big way. Growing is good! To say that I’m excited about them would be a grave understatement.
I went running the other day and was so lost in thought (writer’s hazard) that I tripped and flew like superwoman, hands first… scraped up my hands so badly! I look so silly when I play piano, like a mannequin or something, all stiff and wonky. I can still play though! Hooooooraaayyyy! So there’s a lesson, kids, be present and pay attention when operating your legs at high speeds!
Are you having a nice summer? Today is going to be a good day. I think I’m going to go jog again, this time paying attention! L
