A Future For Sanjaya At Disney Or Nickelodeon?
Robert Thompson, director of the Center for the Study of Popular Television, spoke with Reuters about how he feels ousted ‘American Idol’ finalist Sanjaya Malakar will fare in music. “If I were an executive at Disney or Nickelodeon I would be rushing to sign them both up,” Thompson said of Malakar and his singing sister Shyamali. “He is a really cute kid and it is no surprise he has become a breakthrough star.”
