ABC, NBC Back Away From Paris Hilton Interview

After the NBC deal for a post jail release interview with Paris Hilton fell through, an the ABC official tells Reuters Hilton and her family sought to restart talks with ABC by reaching out to Barbara Walters in a series of phone calls to her home late on Thursday night. “Barbara listened and, today, the executive producer of (ABC news magazine) ’20/20′ called (Hilton’s father) Rick Hilton and told him that ABC News was not interested in an interview with Paris,” the executive told Reuters.
