Adam Lambert Comments On ‘GMA’ Cancellation

Adam Lambert was on the phone with KIIS-FM’s Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday (November 24), commenting on news ‘Good Morning America’ canceled his appearance following his racy American Music Awards performance Sunday night. “Obviously I respect their decision, they gotta do what they gotta do. It’s too bad, I think there were a lot of fans who were excited to come see me,” Lambert said. The ‘American Idol’ season eight runner-up added, “I don’t feel I owe anyone an apology for anything. I performed, it was late-night TV, I did something that female performers have been doing for years, no different. It’s just the fact that I’m me and it’s a little different for people. It’s really not that big of a deal.”

Adam is a decent guy. He feels bad for his fans not able to see him performing. He knows how much his fans are looking forward to this.

I adore Adam Lambert and was really looking forward to his music after “Idol”. However, I felt that the performance on the AMA was in very poor taste. He is so talented and he has a phenomenal voice but I was left feeling disrespected. I wanted to hear him sing. Everything I loved about Adam was everything he didn’t do on the AMA show. I was set to buy his CD but now, I’m not so sure. I didn’t like the song at all. I hope to hear more of Adam’s sweet voice but I can certainly do without the vulgar antics. I do love ya Adam! Just don’t waste what precious gift you have with that awesome voice.
