Adam Lambert Performs & Discusses AMA Controversy On ‘The Early Show’

Adam Lambert appeared on ‘The Early Show’ in New York City on Wednesday morning (November 25), discussing his controversial performance at the American Music Awards and the network that aired the broadcast dropping him from performing on ‘Good Morning America’ in response. Lambert echoed comments made to KIIS FM’s Ryan Seacrest yesterday, feeling no apology is warranted for his ‘For Your Entertainment’ performance. He said that “if it had been a female pop performer doing (his) moves that were on the stage, I don’t think there would be nearly as much of an outrage. I think it’s because I’m a gay male.”

Watch the interview, his performances of ‘What Do You Want From Me’ and ‘Music Again’, questions directed at the ‘American Idol’ season eight runner-up, and comments from his mother below.
