Adam Lambert’s AMA “Ninja Roll” Wasn’t Planned
Adam Lambert took what many thought was a rehearsed tumble during his ‘For Your Entertainment’ performance at Sunday’s American Music Awards, but the ‘American Idol’ season eight runner-up tells MTV News the fall wasn’t on purpose. “Literally, as it happened my foot got caught in the stair,” Lambert explained. “I hit the platform, and I didn’t know what was going on. … I felt like when you spray a cockroach, and its legs are up in the air. That’s what I felt I looked like.”
The singer added, “And I’m like, ‘I bet I look so ridiculously crazy,’ And when I went back and watched it, I was like, ‘Oh, ninja roll, cool! That worked out.’”
