Adam Levine of Maroon 5 recorded a video for the ‘It Gets Better’ project. “There’s been a rash lately of a lot of gay suicides, people treating people so badly because of there very personal beliefs, and I just felt the need to say something to kids who are bullied and are made to feel they’re not amazing,” Levine said. “Don’t let them win, is all I can kind of offer. Please don’t let them win because it’s such a terrible energy to spread and all I can say, as the project says it gets better. High school is not the end of the line. I hated high school. High school fu**ing sucked, but if you can get through it, there’s a whole world out there that exists beyond people treating you badly.”
