The hammer has come down on Britney Spears ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, with an arrest warrant being issued for the paparazzo on felony charges of trying to avoid a process server by driving towards the victim in his Mercedes.
The person serving Ghalib a restraining order, obtained by Britney’s father Jamie, had to jump on the hood of the Mercedes to avoid being struck eventually falling off and breaking his wrist, among other injuries, the District Attorney alleges. Adnan drove away without assisting the server.
Ghalib now faces three felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon, hit-and-run and battery, all worth up to seven years in prison if convicted. Prosecutors are asking for bail set at $110,000.
