Affordable Housing In London Even An Issue For Lily Allen

ContactMusic.com reports that despite the money Lily Allen has earned from her album sales and touring, the singer insists she can’t even afford to buy a basic one-bedroom flat in London. “It’s depressing to be young in Britain. Money is a massive issue,” she said. “I’ve been doing what I do for a few years now and I’ve been paid pretty well for it, but even I’m not in a position to buy a one-bedroom flat in the city I grew up in. How much harder is it going to be for other people my age?”
