Kelefa Sanneh of the New York Times chatted with Christina Aguilera about her new album ‘Stripped’. Describing the album, Aguilera said, “The whole vision for this record was to be really raw and real. Just really baring who I really am.” Freelance Hellraiser helped Aguilera come across as less sugary with his ‘A Stoke of Genius’ mix of Aguilera’s ‘Genie in a Bottle’ and the Strokes ‘Hard to Explain’. “I really, really loved it,” she said of the unauthorized mix track. “I thought it was dope.” And then, only half-joking: “That should have been how I came out with it in the first place!” Read more.
