Aguilera’s Napa Valley Winery Wedding Deemed Legal
The Napa Valley Register reports that with the recent flap over weddings at Napa Valley wineries, including one owned by race car driver Mario Andretti, last weekend’s nuptials between Christina Aguilera and music executive Jordan Bratman caused a stir in the county’s planning department. The couple and about 130 of their friends converged on Napa Valley last week for several days of revelry, culminating in the ceremony Saturday evening at Rutherford’s Staglin Family Winery. Deputy Planning Director Steve Lederer explained that because Aguilera and Bratman were friends with Garen and Shari Staglin, and because no money changed hands, the wedding location was deemed legal.
