AJ McLean Hints At Direction Of Solo Album With Roxy Performance

Contributed by elgato:

AJ McLean was a special guest at friend Shane West’s 25th birthday party which was held at the Roxy on the Sunset Strip. The event featured several on-stage performances, and all the proceeds went to VH1’s Save the Music Foundation. AJ was also one of the performers that night. His set was nothing short of amazing and the choice of songs performed may be a hint at the type of music that will be on his upcoming solo album. The U-Daily News weighed in on the Backstreet Boys star’s performance saying he “took a solo turn on stage with an impressive pop-free song set.” So, you probably shouldn’t expect to hear any pop music on his CD.
