AJ McLean Opens Up About Depression And Drugs

Us Weekly has a special report on stars dealing with depression, including Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean. “Depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues… I didn’t even know half the things that were wrong with me,” McLean admitted about the alcoholism that sent him into rehab in 2001. “I thought by picking up a drink and by doing a couple of lines of coke, I would be happy.”
