Launch.com spoke with Backstreet Boys AJ McLean at the mtvICON ceremony honoring Aerosmith, to be broadcast on MTV Wednesday. AJ said, “Well, Steven is practically my idol. He’s a great human being. He’s got a great heart, he’s got a great voice, and he’s got a great future. They’ve been doing this for years, and they haven’t stopped. We have the whole sobriety thing similar, which is great. I look up to him.” AJ also boasted about being clean and sober for almost 10 months now, after battling alcohol addictions much like Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.
