AJ McLean is currently on KISS-FM’s Top 9@9. He just said that the will be going into the studio to start recording their next album in March 2003 with a tentative release date for the first single at the beginning of the summer and for the album at the end of the summer. He also said that he is working on a solo album but has no plans to release it any time soon.

AJ says that Nick prefers being in the group to being a solo artist and that their record company, not Nick, is to blame for the fact that BSB didn’t release an album this year. Nick’s first single, ‘Help Me,’ was just played; it was number two on the countdown. AJ said that he likes the song and wishes he had been the one who did it. However, most of the interview was devoted to AJ talking very honestly about his experiences in rehab.
