The Santa Maria Times spoke with ousted ‘American Idol’ semi-finalist A.J. Tabaldo about how things have been going since he got sent packing. “The love that I got after that was overwhelming,” the Santa Maria native said. Tabaldo said he has given up his job as a supervisor at the UPS Customer Center in Santa Maria and plans to move to Los Angeles in a few weeks. He’s ready to start recording original material which he’ll soon begin to shop around to record labels.
