‘American Idol’ season six semi-finalist Alaina Alexander has written an original song to accompany a video, ‘Life Interrupted’, which shows the faces and names of victims of gay bashing and other hate crimes, including two teenage victims recently hanged in Iran. Alexander wrote on her Myspace blog on June 8th: “Hey there! I just wanted to show you this, and make you do some thinking this weekend! Enjoy the song (I’m still working on it, so go easy on it) be proud, and be safe.” YouTube has since removed the video.
