Alanis Felt Nobody Gave A Sh** About New Album

Lucy McGregor of Juice.net spoke with Alanis Morissette about the pressure she had for her new album, but Alanis revealed, “With the follow-up to ‘Jagged Little Pill’, everywhere I went – grocery stores, anywhere – the question of, ‘When is it coming out?’ was posed to me. It’s a harmless enough question but it was really oppressive. [Laughs] But with this record I felt that no-one really gave a sh**, and that elicits an amazing freedom.”
