Sydney Confidential (Daily Telegraph) has more details on the surprise departure of Alanis Morissette from Australia on Tuesday following the singer’s mystery illness that was apparently contacted during her earlier visit to Japan. An onlooker at the Triple M studio, her last performance in the country, said, “She was 45 minutes late to perform at Triple M and told us she wasn’t felling well, but she performed the whole set. After she had finished she waved and looking a little teary eyed she left the room and just didn’t return.”
