Alanis Morissette was on Extra TV Wednesday to talk about her ‘comeback’ album ‘Under Rug Swept’ that she says came about after conversation with Maverick Record label founder Madonna that recharged her move to continue in music. Alanis said of the new disc, “It’s not just about being angry anymore. It’s about taking it to the next level and taking a little more responsibility these days.” As for what’s next for the singer who’s getting great reviews on the new album, “I feel like I haven’t begun really. I feel like my life has been one giant appetizer so far and I’m still cooking.” ‘Under Rug Swept’ drops on Tuesday.
