Alanis Morissette tells Chart magazine that she refuses to give Avril Lavigne any direct advice, but she did speak about her own personal issues with being in the spotlight. “All I would want to offer [Avril] is a sense of someone to come to,” she continued. “Or just to relate to or to know [she’s] not alone.
