Alex Band and Aaron Kamin of The Calling were on KISS 92 in Toronto March 9 for a interview/performance and they were asked about boy bands. Alex said, “I think people just got burned out on the whole create a band good looking nothing else…” Adding, “I won’t rag on *NSYNC or anything like that because they’re entertainment. It’s like a Vegas act… it’s entertainment, but it’s not something that will move you because it’s not passionate. They didn’t write it, they don’t have the passion for it I don’t think.” Later in the interview Alex talked about giving Aaron Carter’s gold record on the wall of the KISS 92 studios the finger because he keeps getting told he looks like him… and he’s getting sick of it.
