Alex Roots Hopes To Release ‘Adrenaline Rush’ In June
Alex Roots checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Monday (January 12). The UK pop singer, readying her debut album ‘Adrenaline Rush’, tells readers:

Thought I would post a little blog for those of you who read them (which is probably only my Nan, hey Nan, love ya). I had a great Christmas and New Year, I was ill, but who hasn’t been ill! Santa was good to me, as usual, I was a very good girl in 2008! I just can’t wait to get back into the swing of things. Ryan, my song-writing partner in crime, went and spent the coldest winter I think known to man in Australia! Everyone I work with flew off to some exotic country and I have been in freezing Bromley, joyful!As you can see I have added all my new gig dates, thanks to everyone who came last year. I shall be promoting and doing a limited release of Fake around March time, making a little music video for it too. Hopefully the album will be released around June, It’s called Adrenaline Rush. Right now June feels so long away! I hope people like ittt!
The whole new electro pop scene is everywhere at the moment. There are pop princesses everywhere! Little Boots, Florence and the Machine, La Roux, Santogold, M.I.A, Ladyhawke, VVBrown, Lady Gaga! HERE COME THE GIRLS….. I feel like I fit into this scene but that my stuff is still totally different.
