Jessica is SO full of CRAP!! Yea, right all five networks were “fighting over her” just like all the movie studios were fighting over her to star in movies (like remakes of Flashdance, Footloose, Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, and let’s not forget Coyote Ugly which Jessica CLAIMED she had to turn down because of the nude scene of which there was NONE- just no Jessica!) This is called building up a demand for an artist in PR speak- it means lie about the popularity and demand for a nothing artist and maybe some dumb slob will actually believe it without first checking into it and give the slut of the week a job. There were NO movies and there will be NO TV show.
EXACTLY Famefan! Jessica has a DEVELOPMENTAL deal, which means SHOULD ABC develop a show that would be FITTING for her they will make it BUT it is NOT a guarantee she’ll GET the show. Developmental deals just mean she is TIED to the network FOR ONE FULL YEAR in which time she is NOT ALLOWED to do a project for ANYONE ELSE. It’s actually SMART really because ABC WILL NEVER find a show for her to MAKE THEM MONEY and NO ONE can use her and since Newlyweds is now only SIX episodes in 2004 that means LESS JESSICA IN 2004. THANK GOD!
