Robert Hilburn of the Los Angeles Times reviewed the *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday (June 16). Hilburn said Aguilera’s performance “seemed as tedious as being trapped in a SigAlert” and that she “didn’t convince us she knows who she is musically.” On the *NSYNC singer, he said that Timberlake “turned out to be every bit as promising a solo artist as many industry sharpies – not to mention shrieking young fans – have predicted ever since the early days of *NSYNC.”
