‘Alpha Dog’ Moves To New Studio Over Release Dispute

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Justin Timberlake starring film ‘Alpha Dog’ has found a new home at Universal Pictures, following a disagreement between its producer and original distributor New Line Cinema over the release strategy. New Line didn’t plan to release it as widely as producer Sidney Kimmel Entertainment had wanted, and sources claim Universal has promised to put the film into more than 1,000 theaters.
