Sugababe star Amelle Berrabah spoke with the Daily Star, where she opened up about having her life turned around for the better after Mutya Buena’s departure from the girl group opened the door for her. “I used to be a right nightmare before I was in the band. I’d drive my mum round the bend with worry,” the 23-year-old said. “I’d stay out late, or all night, and not let her know where I was. I really could have gone down the wrong path. Then the Sugababes audition came up.”
