Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah spoke with The Mirror after her boyfriend Freddie Fuller was brutally attacked with a machete. “It was horrific – like a nightmare but worse because it was real,” the 23-year-old singer said. “How one person can do that to another I don’t know. I couldn’t stop myself screaming.” Berrabah added, “I haven’t slept since it happened – I’ve been so worried. I think I’m still in shock. I just hope the police catch whoever did it, but they say he has completely disappeared.”
As for how Fuller is doing now at Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey, where surgeons operated on him for six hours to save his arm and put metal plates in his right leg, Berrabah said, “I watch every flicker of his eyes to see how he’s doing and he seems to be getting a bit stronger. But the doctors say he’s going to need constant care for at least eight weeks, so I’ve decided to book him into a private hospital.” Read more.
