Globe magazine caught up with ‘American Idol’ judge Simon Cowell who says the smash TV show has boosted his love life “100 percent, because the ice is already broken.” He says, “I’ve always hated chatting girls up. Fame means they feel they already know you, so it’s easier.” As for how he compares American girls to those of his native England, Cowell said, “American girls are slightly nuttier, but in a funny way I like.”
