‘American Idol’ Gets More Viewers Than Bush’s Speech

Craig Kilborn joked during his Late Late Show monologue on Thursday night, “Last night more people watched ‘American Idol’ than the State of the Union address. Next year the State of the Union will be given by Ryan Seacrest. So basically America would rather watch people who can’t sing over someone who can’t speak.”
