‘American Idol’ To Add ‘Where Are They Now?’ Feature

The new season of ‘American Idol’ starts this evening on Fox and with the writer’s strike, there may be even more viewers. Fox News Chicago entertainment reporter David Viggiano offered a preview, featuring comments from ‘Idol’ executive producer Ken Warwick and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, who talked about the show’s changes. “We want to do a section within the results show of where are they now, what are they doing now. What’s Ruben [Studdard] going to do, now that he doesn’t have a contract anymore. Is he just going to give up the business? I don’t think so, but what’s he going to do. Where is Clay Aiken now? Where is Kimberley Locke?” Watch the segment below.
