‘American Idol’ host Ryan Seacrest got the show’s producer Megan Michaels on the line during his KIIS FM morning show on Tuesday, talking about how having a 13th contestant on this season’s show presented problems because the show only owns 1-866-IDOLS-01 thru -12. Who owns 13? A phone sex operator. So tonight’s show will unveil a special G-rated number for the 13th performer instead. Said Michaels: “We will not allude to the fact of the 1-3, because we don’t even want to endorse that.”
