American Idol Website Launched

As reported earlier, the British Pop Idol phenomenon is hitting America with ‘American Idol’. Auditions will take place in Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, New York, and Atlanta (What? No Orlando!?). The show premieres on Tuesday, June 11 at 8:30 PM on FOX. Meanwhile, the show’s creator Simon Cowell created headlines in The Sun this weekend with news that gay icon Elton John asked the host, “When are you going to come out and admit you’re gay?” Cowell looked lost for words before finally retorting, “If it means I end up with you, Elton, then never.” Read more.
