Amy Macdonald Hopes To Release Second Album Early 2010
Amy Macdonald updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Friday (September 18), talking about how she keep busy over the summer with the festival season, working on a follow-up to ‘This Is The Life’, and music piracy. The Scottish singer songwriter tells readers:
As well as touring across Europe, I’ve also been very busy in the recording studio over the summer. We have a selection of songs recorded and I have to say I’m really excited. I can’t wait for all you guys to hear them and I promise it won’t be a long time. We’re hoping to release the album early next year so it’s only really a few months.
Pete has done an amazing job with the production, some of the sounds are just amazing and they are exactly how I imagined my little acoustic ditties when I handed them all over. We’ve also managed to persuade one of my favorite artists to whack some stuff down on them but you’ll have to wait and see ;-)
