Ousted ‘American Idol’ finalist Anoop Desai talked with TV Guide’s ‘After Idol’ about the artists he wants to team up with, what he said to Allison Iraheta before being voted off, and not having plans to go back to grad school until he makes an effort to get a record deal and make an album. “I see myself in that pop/R&B genre, and I think I have the type of voice to be successful in that genre,” Desai said. “I’m looking forward to that.
