Anson Mount Denies Romance With Britney Spears

TV Guide Online spoke with Britney Spears’ ‘Crossroads’ co-star Anson Mount who admits the role opened some doors for him in the acting world. “Professionally, I like to say I’m getting turned down by much bigger people now,” he chuckles. “Yeah, I guess it’s helped my visibility. It’s hard to say. My life is pretty much exactly the same as before I made ‘Crossroads’.” As for whether his onscreen romance in the film carried on offscreen, he insisted, “Of course not. No.”
