Apologetic Michelle Branch Thanks Fans After VMA Win

Michelle Branch checked in with fans on her official message board on Friday after her big Viewer’s Choice win at the MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday. Branch was still apologetic after forgetting to thank her fans, who’s votes got her the prize. Branch said, “I sincerely want to thank each and every one of you for your constant support, encouragement, excitement, and of course the votes! The only thing I could really utter afterward was ‘Are you sure? I wasn’t supposed to win this!’ But then it hit me. Oh man. I forgot to thank the fans, MTV, and my FAMILY!!! I am such a nerd. So again, I am offering you the most humble, surprised, and appreciative ‘Thank you’ that I think I have ever given out.”
