J. Lo Hosts Detroit Radio Show
MusicChic writes "Jennifer Lopez hosted Detroit's 'Channel 95.5 FM' afternoon radio show on Monday (August 11). Her song selections included Lumidee's 'Uh-Oh', R. Kelly's 'Remix to Ignition', Beyonce's 'Crazy in Love', and a track from ex-boyfriend Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs' 'Bad Boys' soundtrack. She even played 'Baby I Love You' from her 'Then Is Me... Then' album, which she called her favorite [of her own songs]. Before going off the air she revealed the possibility of collaborating with R. Kelly in the future, to produce at least one track.
My review of the show:
While it was cool to hear J. Lo hosting the radio, I didn't see any sign that she hosted it live, rather it was probably pre-recorded. Additionally she made comments identical to ones she made on a previous occassion when she hosted a radio show elsewhere (for example stating that Beyonce, 'her girl', was out there doing her thing and that her and Jay-Z make a cute couple, etc.) Again this hints that the show was pre-recorded, and furthermore - scripted. All in all though she did a decent job, and threw in a few good songs to boot."
