Kizzardkid writes "Instead of celebrating her well-received performance after her second and last concert at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, superstar Mariah Carey practiced boxing. No show at the renowned concert hall has received better reviews than that of Carey, despite the fact that the top-notch show came with an expensive ticket price.

Carey began her concert by performing “Heartbreaker” from her Rainbow album. Surrounded by three clowns and a group of faux paparazzi, she wore her trademark clothing which was rather short on material and was designed to showcase her assets.

For the next two hours, Carey belted out both old and new hits and demonstrated all the possibilities of her rich voice. The grateful audience did not get tired of applauding and screaming out “I love you!”

In return, the singer repeatedly thanked the audience for their applause and talked to them in between each song, predominantly in English since, according to a sarcastic Carey, “my Russian isn’t exactly perfect.”

Besides the inside of the venue in which she was performing at, Carey didn’t see much of Moscow. In fact, she barely left her hotel. Although Sunday presented the singer with an entire day of free time, Carey used the allotment to catch up on her sleep after spending approximately one hour boxing with a trainer; (she is preparing for a new film, in which she plays a female boxer.) Carey’s only exploration of Moscow came on Friday, when she had time to wander along Red Square to meet with fans. The diva also admired the monuments of Russian architecture from Rock Bridge but soon returned to her hotel – to sleep.

Today Carey is flying to north western Russia – St. Petersburg specifically – where she will give another concert. Following that she’s off to Sweden to conclude her tour, and after that Carey will begin work on a new album. She already wrote a new song during her plane trip to Moscow.
