Damien: How are you?

Britney: I'm good. How are you?

Damien: Good. We're going to get into your latest video "toxic." You got the red hair, fresh off the heels of working with madonna. We'll do that in just a second. Of course, I have to ask this. I walk to work in the morning. I see your face all over the newspapers, all over "us weekly." I turn on cnn for election coverage like a good american and you're on cnn.

Britney: It's crazy. We landed on mars that day. Why aren't they talking about that.

Damien: Very funny. Exactly. This is kind of strange, because it's just ban media blitz on you. And the thing is they're forming opinions and judgments without properly consulting the source. And it doesn't make sense. At least on my end personally, I don't think. Do you have any -- what's your side of the story?

Britney: You know, I mean, I do believe in the sanctity of marriage. I totally do, but I think I was in vegas and I just -- it took over me and I got a little -- you know, things got out of hand.

[ Cheers and applause ] Yeah, that's what happened.

Damien: You just had some fun.

Britney: Yeah! I was in vegas, and it was just, you know, I was with my friend, and we just -- we hit it off completely. And I don't know. Let's talk about something else.

Damien: Your friend jason alexander, yeah. Were there feelings from him? Were there genuine feelings with him or no.

Britney: You know what? That's a personal question. I do have a zid video coming out. And it's really cool. It's called "toxic."

Damien: That is very fair. Let's get to the music, the reason why you're on the phone right now, of course. You reinvent yourself with outrageous looks. You have red hair in the "toxic" video. Is this something you picked up from madonna?

Britney: I think the video just called for -- she's a villain and she has all these different disguises and I was just going into the role of the character. And what the video called for. So it was a fun video. It was the first video I've really had that many different looks. And it was really fun doing that kind of thing.

Damien: It's funny, becausive watching the "oops" video a couple days ago and I saw the previews for this one. It's a 180 for you.

Britney: Right.

[ Cheers and applause ] You kiss a lot -- go spl thank you, man. That's cool.

Damien: You kiss a lot of guys in your videos and in your music and stuff and in this one, you said, what the hell, I'M. Going to kiss everyone in this video.

[ Cheers and applause ]

Britney: Oh. It wasn't -- I mean, it wasn't that bad, though. It was awkward at first, but I don't know. They were all really cute, nice guys, so you know -- it wasn't too bad.

Damien: Before you say cute, nice guys. There's a 60-year-old man in this video that you make out with. What's the deal with that?

Britney: He's not a 60-year-old man. He's a little bit older than me. God, that was the one that was a little awkward. But he was cute. He was really nervous so I tried to make him feel comfortable.

Damien: He was nervous?

Britney: Yeah, he was really sweet.

Damien: Did he really get into the kiss? Like, yo buddy --

Britney: No, no, he had his mouth closed the whole time.

Damien: That's right. And you know, you enjoy hanging out with tyson bufford? He's in this void this video.

Britney: He's so sexy and so cute. He was a hot A.

Damien: La la wants to know what was it like hanging on to his well-tons muscles and/or body on the back of a motorcycle? Is that not a fair question.

Britney: He was really cool. The whole time I'm trying to be cool the whole time and like, okay, you got to be cool. And this hot guy is right in front of me. It was really kind of hard to hold composure. But it's alled good.
