Mariah Carey is not only one of the Greatest Artist of all time. She's also the bar that most female singers try to reach. Every great female artist with real talent has said "I grew up listening to Mariah Carey" and that's what made me want to be a singer. These artist are Alicia Keys, Destiny's Child star Beyonce Knowles, Ashanti, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson and many more.
I think Mariah is the reason music is the way it is today. Mariah is the artist who started the R&B mixed with Hip Hop! She did it with ODB on 'Fantasy Remix'.
It's just time to give credit were credit is do.
