fashionprincess writes "Even without a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Britney Spears has been made an icon by generations of musical performers. She is gorgeous, talented and known. While the Baha Men have Grammys, that gets old and forgotten. And while tabloids do dry up (even though Britney is in favor of them), what's really important and remembered is the music. Beside through her own, these are just a few impacts Britney has made on music through song. Let's face it we don't remember who won the first VMA ever, or the best restaurant in the '60s, but we do remember songs inspired by icons because music always lives on and as do music's icons, like Britney.
