Mariah Carey Offers Condolence To A Fan

RadioFreeRoscoe writes "Earlier this year, Mariah fan Leo Porter's mother passed away. Mariah had met Leo before and knew of his mother's condition. When she heard of the tragic event, Mariah sent him this letter:
"Dear Leo, I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I know it is an extremely difficult time for you right now and no words can truly console you as you grieve. But if you have faith and know that she is in a better place, maybe that will offer you some solace. My prayers are with you. Love, Mariah."
Leo received the letter in July and at first wanted to keep it private, but has decided to share it with everyone to show how much Mariah cares about her fans.
He says, "Mariah's kindhearted spirit matches her soul moving songs. Mariah, as busy as she is, took time out of her day to hand write to a fan who is going through a hard time in his life. Mariah, you are an amazing person whose compassion and general love for human kind is simply amazing. You will always be my saving grace! Thank you Mariah!""
