Us Weekly spoke with the younger siblings of ‘Newlyweds’ stars Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson on their upcoming projects. Jessica’s sister Ashlee Simpson is set to star in a MTV reality series this summer about making her debut album. “It’s a little ’80s, a little ’70s and sort of punk,” she said. And Nick’s 98 Degrees bandmate and brother Drew Lachey is set to make his Broadway debut in ‘Rent’ in September. “We grew up doing musicals,” he explained. “I’m a little nervous, but very confident. It’s gonna be a good time.”
