Ashlee Simpson topped the U.S. pop charts on Wednesday, although sales of her sophomore album was considerably lower than her debut. Simpson logged her second consecutive No. 1 with ‘I Am Me’, which sold 220,000 copies in the week ended October 23rd, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Her 2004 debut ‘Autobiography’ opened with 398,000 copies and has gone on to move 2.9 million.
